Using subframe instead of aftermarket kit

People always ask me why I decided to use the subframe instead of the new aftermarket ones already to assemble. That's easy to answer (old school): I wanted more room between the frame rails for headers, etc. Where my truck frame rails came inward in front of the cab the subframe allows me to have more room between them. Also I lowered the frame approximately 4 to 5 inches without any dropped spindles and its lighter weight.
