My son does get his hands in the middle once in awhile. I needed an extra set of hands to get the bed off. It's just a little quicker to have two people, when you don't have a lift. Notice the inner panels on the bed, they were made new. After cutting the rotted ones out I was able to treat the entire backside of the bed and panel. Another little detail that isn't usually done.
